Of course, it is not funny to those who experience shoddy workmanship that resulted in real remodeling mistake..or nightmare. Still, what people will come up with to make-do sometimes is funny.

Most of the remodeling mistakes usually occur when someone tries to do a remodel, or new construction, themselves and not really know what they are doing.

Sure, these are good-hearted people who meant well, and probably had everything under control until an obvious design issue came up and they decided..what the heck…not my problem..let’s wrap this up and get out of here.  Then they immediately make the mistakes that result in the nightmares.

Mistakes really happen and most of the time it was the building designer who was the root cause of the mistake.  Or, the Do-It-Yourselfer just solved the problem themselves and moved on.

We take our building design seriously and take every precaution to avoid design problems.  Still..there are some mistakes presented to us that others caused that we found funny.
